Set up product stats
Product stats is a great way to show data in an engaging way on your store. In this guide, learn how you can set up Line chart and Doughnut chart with Futurer.
What is product stats?
Product stats are designed to highlight key data points about your product on your storefront, helping to increase customer confidence and drive sales. Displaying visually appealing statistics can emphasize product value, performance, or customer trust.
Common types of product data you can showcase are:
- Sales Data: Units sold, total sales volume, or growth trends.
- Customer Feedback: Average star ratings, review counts, or satisfaction percentages.
- Product Features: Key attributes such as sustainability metrics, material composition percentages, or availability indicators.
- Usage Metrics: Popularity measures like "90% of buyers recommend this" or "Frequently bought together".
These sections enables you to effectively communicate your product’s unique value proposition at a glance.
How to use the Product stats sections
Follow these steps to set up and customize the Product Stats section in the Shopify Theme Editor. As an example, let's use the Featured product stats section.
- Go to the Theme Editor, navigate to the page where you want the section displayed. Click on Add section and select Featured product stats.
- With the Performance block, you can set up to show a Doughnut chart. For example, your product performance is 80% efficient, you can show that by adding 80 in the Percentage box.
- With the Chart block, you can set up multiple Line chart. For example, you want to show how your product perform over time compared to competitors.
- X is for horizontal value
- Y is for vertical value
- Value box is for the x and y value together. x is defined by the position of the letter, divided by a comma. Add a new line of value to add a new line chart.
- For example, the value at (x =0) is (y=60), the value at (x=0) is (y=40)
Use the theme editor to preview how the stats would look on your store. Then, click Save to apply the changes.
